Membership dues are increasing slightly in 2027 to ensure AETA can continue delivering high-quality continuing education, conventions, and member services. 

An individual who is actively engaged in the embryo transfer industry who holds a PhD, DVM, or equivalent degree. Professional members are eligible to vote, serve on committees, and hold an office in the association. The professional membership fee is $275.00 with an annual renewal fee of $275.00.

Professional members who submit their annual data receive a $50 discount on their next year's annual membership dues. 

An individual who is actively engaged in the embryo transfer industry. Regular members are eligible to vote, serve on committees, and hold an office in the association. The regular membership fee is $275.00 with an annual renewal fee of $275.00.

Regular members who submit their annual data receive a $50 discount on their next year's annual membership dues. 

Individuals who have been Professional or Regular Members of the association for a period of at least 10 years and who deem themselves as retired from activities associated with Professional or Regular Membership. Emeritus Members may enjoy the rights of their previous membership status, either Professional or Regular.

Emeritus Membership is granted by an application, in writing, to the Board of Directors, who have the sole right to invoke or revoke the Emeritus status to a Professional or Regular Member.

Individuals enrolled in an academic program at the undergraduate or graduate level. Academic status must be verified annually by an academic advisor or a Professional Member. Student membership is free of charge.

Individuals who have recently graduated can transition from their student membership—before becoming a full professional member—using the one-time only Transitional Member option for the discounted fee of $75. Transitional members get all the benefits of membership at the lowest possible rate to support the critical time as they enter the profession full-time.

Individuals engaged in a business or occupation related to the embryo transfer industry that do not meet the requirements for Professional, Regular, Emeritus, or Student Memberships. These Associate Members may not vote, but will otherwise be entitled to full privileges of membership, and can attend meetings, serve on committees, and receive newsletters. The associate member fee is $225.00 with an annual renewal fee of $225.00.
